Raku Fired Ceramics

Each pot is individually made by a combination of coiling and slabbing. There are 3 main surface textures:


scraped black	slip resist, crackle & spots	applied slip texture

These textures are often used in combination and with glazed details.

Please note Raku fired ware is porous to water and is not recommended for food use.

The costs and schedule of work will be set out and agreed by the client before work commences. Payment for the work usually made in two or three instalments. Lead times are usually 4-8 weeks depending on the nature of the project.
