Potfest ScotlandI am very happy to be participating again at my nearest (and possibly favourite) show of the year. The work on show is a great mix, the weather is unfailingly perfect (😳) and the company always excellent. Located in the geographical heart of Scotland, at Scone Palace, this show has grown in popularity over the past three years and has now become one of the largest and most popular of the Potfest events. Potfest – Scotland showcases exhibitors’ work from a number of large, open-sided marquees on the beautiful lawns in front of the Palace. Admission to the show grants access to the grounds, gardens and cafe facilities. Being the only major ceramics event in Scotland, it is selected but curated to showcase a wide and diverse range of work to appeal to all tastes and budgets. Adults £8 (includes admission to gardens) (Please be aware that some of the exhibitors may be unable to process credit card transactions, and the nearest cash machines are two miles away in Perth.) Solo Ceramics Show at Beaux Arts BathI am delighted to be showing my new work at Beaux Arts Bath. After a long slow year of making in 2022 I have managed to fire the kilns a few times to pull together this collection. I see the beginnings of new developments in the work but mainly I have been concentrating on refining my making and firing techniques. Beaux Arts Bath is a contemporary art gallery showing paintings, sculpture and ceramics. Founded in 1979, it is the longest established independent gallery in the city of Bath. It has a high reputation for showing the ceramics of UK and international artists working in clay. Opening event Saturday 25th February between 1 pm and 4pm. I’m looking forward to seeing you there if you can make it. I will be at the show for a couple of hours as it opens, before heading North again to Skye. 12-13 York St, Bath BA1 1NG, 01225 464850 https://www.beauxartsbath.co.uk/ Beaux Arts Bath, 12-13 York Street, Bath United Kingdom, |
