Textures of the Land at The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh is my first major solo exhibition. I am delighted to be showing at this gallery again after a successful joint show in 2018.
Working from the Isle of Skye for the past 25 years I see my work as an expression of the journey towards understanding my place in life. I can’t separate it from my experience of living in this landscape or from the path that brought me here.
The exhibition will feature new work in the Erosion Series. It is a culmination of the development of my particular making methods and will include pieces from all three of the firing processes: raku, charcoal saggar and wood firing.

Textures of the Land takes place at The Scottish Gallery, 16 Dundas Street, Edinburgh from 4 January – 1 February 2020.
