Ice Erosion Cup – porcelain
A small porcelain Erosion Bowl with transparent crackle glaze interior. This has been fired in a closed saggar within the wood kiln to protect it from the fly ash. The porcelain is a warm white, rather like the Skye marble from Torrin in the foot hills of the Cuillin mountain range. The interior glaze is a pale celadon green, the colour coming from basalt in the recipe.
