A hand made Fire pouring vessel with dark iron tenmoku glazed interior. Made with iron rich clay and textured by heat before stretching the form. The exterior surface is unglazed, the interior glaze is a smooth, dark tenmoku and food safe. This jug has been wood fired with local pine which has given it a dark treacly surface. A useful vessel for adding a drop of water to your whisky. The base is gently rounded so some care is needed when full – cats beware!
