A hand made Shore Bowl, raku fired with slip resist unglazed interior.
The texture has stretched particularly nicely, reminiscent of the black rocky shore around much of the coast of Skye.
Like all raku fired earthenware it needs to be displayed away from direct sunlight which may, over time, bleach the dark tones.
Porous and not suitable for food use. It may be washed but must be dried thoroughly away from precious surfaces to avoid staining.
