Small Forest Floor Bowl

A small hand sized Forest Bowl, made from grogged dark iron clay, with porcelain slip overlay. The texture comes from drying the surface of the white slip and stretching the clay from the inside. It has a dark, almost black tenmoku glazed interior and has been wood fired which gives a treacly tone to the texture.
