A small Tanka fired Erosion Bottle. This textured hand made bottle has been fired in a charcoal saggar within the wood kiln. The exterior surface has been left unglazed and takes on the soft greys and blacks from the firing process. The interior is glazed and the piece is water tight. It was made from a solid mass of clay and stretched and carved out by hand to form it’s shape, giving it a good heft for its size, approx. 400g.
It would work well as a bud vase but also as a bottle to add water to your dram – fras uisge anns an dram agad
