An Erosion bowl in the colours of winter. By December the hills are turning pale like straw as the clumps of tall deer grass on the hill are dried and bleached. Pockets of dark earth where the sheep shelter, show through and russets from the bog myrtle and moss.
A treacly dark tenmoku glaze interior which has a slight texture due to the high firing. This piece was saggar fired and then refired in the main body of the wood kiln.
