Collections

There is an inherent inspiration in a person’s fundamental being and I think an artist’s work can be a search to find expression for this, consciously or unconsciously. The form of this expression is influenced by the land around me, where I chose to live. I have always preferred wilder more challenging landscapes and seascapes. The visible presence of the rock beneath the thin soils of the Highlands reminds me of the real substance of life, and how fragile its veneer.
